Swiggy Launches 'Scenes' App for Dining, Live Events, and Ticket Booking Services

The popular food delivery platform Swiggy has launched a new type of service. The company, which is already excelling in the quick commerce segment, is now ready to enter the fields of dining, live events, and ticket booking. For this, it has introduced a special app called Scenes.
Zomato has already launched a new app called District. Through this application, it provides ticket booking and dining services. Swiggy has come forward to showcase its strength in this segment. As part of this, it has recently launched the Scenes app. With the help of this app, tickets can be booked for parties, live music, DJ nights, and more events held at partner restaurants. Swiggy says this new app has many features. However, it has clarified that it does not offer the facility to sell movie tickets, unlike the District app.
The food delivery platform stated that this new feature will increase Swiggy's revenue and help it grow its user base. Initially, these services will be launched in Bengaluru, with the possibility of expanding to more cities soon.
Currently, Swiggy is experiencing good growth, with a 10 percent annual increase. Meanwhile, Swiggy has recently introduced a special membership plan called 'One BLCK' for customers who want better services and convenience. With this membership, customers can enjoy fast delivery and an on-time guarantee for every food order. It will also offer complimentary cocktails, drinks, and desserts during dine-out.
